Cadillac winner announced

Chris Floor of Cottonwood Heights, Utah won the Cadillac XT4 drawing, sponsored by Holy Apostles Orthodox Christian Church. The drawing was held this past Friday at 5:00 p.m. He purchased three ticket chances. He will choose between a prepaid lease of the vehicle, or value toward any new vehicle from the Halladay Group, or $15,000 in cash. The event benefits the building fund of the church.

Caroling at Plains Hotel

The Plains Hotel is hosting community caroling on Saturday, Dec. 7 starting at 10 a.m. and continuing until Noon. There will be cookies and hot chocolate for all the participants. Dave Neimann will provide the musical accompaniment. Carolers will wander the resort, decorated with this year’s Chari-Trees, and can take their photo with Santa in his sleigh.  Pets are also welcome to get their photo with Santa.

Children’s Choir December Concert

ACCC will be presenting its December concert, A Cold Winter's Night on Saturday, Dec. 7 at South Hight School at 4:00 PM.  The cost is $10.  Tickets are available from ACCC singers, at www.brownpapertickets, by calling the ACCC answering machine at 307-771-2275 and leaving your name, phone number, number of tickets you would like at "Will Call" or at the door. The Concert and Lyric Choirs are under the direction of new artistic director, Vincent Mingils and associate director, Debbie Mathews. Eighty singers from 19 different schools will be performing on the concert. 

Winter Wonderland At Little America

Magic City Enterprises’ 2019 Festival of Trees “Winter Wonderland” Gala Event to be held at Little America Hotel & Resort on Friday, Dec. 6 from 6:00 to 10:30 PM. Event includes dinner, live and silent auctions, raffles and games. This annual Gala features beautifully decorated trees, holiday music, drinks, and more. All funds raised will be used for the design and development of affordable and accessible housing for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live typical lives.
