The Cheyenne City Council will hold its annual Straw Poll Dinner on Tuesday, December 3rd at Poor Richard’s Restaurant (2233 E. Lincolnway). Nominations for City Council President and City Council Vice President for 2020 will be made. The dinner will start at 6:00 p.m.

Girls on the Run Wyoming Fall 5K being held at Laramie County Community College campus in Cheyenne on Saturday, November 16. Participation in the 5K event is open to the public and all proceeds from the event will benefit Girls on the Run Wyoming.

The 2019 Bark and Wine for Black Dog Animal Rescue will be held on Saturday, October 4. The rescue has held this event every year since 2010. It is BDAR’s largest annual fundraising event and accounts for a majority of their annual budget.
