At 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, at South High School, the All-City Children’s Chorus (ACCC) will present “A Cold Winter’s Night.”

ACCC consists of students from Laramie County School District 1, St. Mary’s School and Burns and Carpenter elementary schools.

Sean Ambrose, LCSD1’s music coordinator, said the ACCC program supports LCSD1’s mission of gifted and talented instruction in an extracurricular fashion. He added the staff has always been made up of district certified music teachers.

“Our school choirs are very focused on curriculum, literacy and components of the district’s music standards and benchmarks,” Ambrose said. “The children’s chorus provides kids an opportunity to focus specifically on performance outside of the school day.”

“A Cold Winter’s Night” will feature holiday season classics. During the choir’s final song, “Night of Silence,” ACCC alumni will be invited on stage to participate.

The $10 tickets may be purchased from ACCC choir members and individuals may call 771-2275 to leave their ticket requests on the ACCC answering machine. Tickets may also be purchased at www.
