LCSD1 Board of Trustees
At 5 p.m., Monday, Dec. 2, in the Storey Gym Board Room, a work session will be held. At 6 p.m., the regular Board meeting will be held. The agenda for this meeting will be available from the LCSD1 website.
LCSD1 closed for Thanksgiving break
All Laramie County School District 1 schools and offices will be closed Nov. 27–29 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Hours of operation will return to normal on Monday, Dec. 2.
At 8 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 28, the school will host its Turkey Stampede in the South High neighborhood. Registration for the race begins at 7 a.m.
From 11:20 a.m.–12:50 p.m., Thursday,
Dec. 5, the school will host its Eagle of the Month Celebration in the cafeteria. Parents are invited to attend but asked to bring their own lunch.
From 8 a.m.–4 p.m., Monday, Dec. 2 through Friday, Dec. 6, the school will host a PTO-sponsored Santa’s Workshop in the library for students. Parents are invited to visit on Friday.
From 11 a.m.–noon, Thursday, Dec. 5, the student council will have a lunch meeting in the art room.
From 6–8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 6, the school will hold a PTO-sponsored Family Night in the gym.
From 9 a.m.–1 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 3, third-graders will visit the historic Governors Mansion, 300 E. 21st St.
Beginning Tuesday, Dec. 10 through Thursday, Dec. 12, third-graders will take turns visiting the historic Governors Mansion, 300 E. 21st St.
From 9 a.m.–3 p.m., Dec. 17 and 19, the school will have a PTO-sponsored Secret Santa Shop on the stage in the cafeteria.
From 6–8 p.m., Monday, Dec. 9, the school will host a third-grade art night in the gym.
From 5–7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 11, the school will host a PTO-sponsored bookfair in the gym. The school will also be putting on a movie and providing pizza.
