The commissary at F.E. Warren is making several changes to its hours and access requirements as a COVID-19 precautionary measure.
Commissary hours have been adjusted to allow more time for re-stocking and cleaning. Effective Thursday, March 19, Early Bird Shopping has been discontinued. The new hours are as follows:
- Sunday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Monday: Closed
- Tuesday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Wednesday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Thursday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Additional procedures have been instituted to make sure the commissary can meet the needs of military members and their families.
Effective Friday, March 20, 100 percent ID checks will be implemented at the entrance to the store. Only patrons with a valid identification card, CAC or other Department of Defense identification will be granted entrance to the store. All other visitors will be turned away if they do not have the above identification.
