Two East High students were selected to perform for the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) All-National Honor Ensembles Nov. 7-10 in Orlando, Fla.
East High junior Jaelyn Burch and sophonore Connor Fertig were selected for this honor. They are joined by a select group of music students from across the United States and overseas military base schools, who are performing.
The All-National Honor Ensembles works with musically gifted students across the United States to assemble a concert band, symphony orchestra, mixed choir, jazz ensemble, guitar ensemble and modern band for the performance.
Burch and Fertig were selected to perform with the mixed choir.
The All-National Honor Ensembles is sponsored by NAfME, which is an organization that supports music education throughout the United States.
