Solar Home Tour

Six homes in Cheyenne that have adopted solar energy are participating the National Solar Home Tour this weekend. Open house attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions, connect with other community members interested in solar, learn about how to go solar, and earn how site hosts have benefited from going solar. Solar United Neighbors and the American Solar Energy Society are coordinating this year’s National Solar Tour.

Hundreds of solar home and business owners across the nation are hosting solar open houses to share their experience of going solar as part of the National Solar Tour. Now in its 23rd year, the National Solar Tour is the largest grassroots solar event in the United States. This year’s Tour features hundreds of solar open houses and local solar tours in 48 states and Washington, D.C.

Each year, Solar United Neighbors and the American Solar Energy Society partner to put on the National Solar Tour. This year, it will be on Saturday and Sunday, October 5 and 6. This year, Cheyenne is on the map with 6 locations. More information:
