
Emma L. Durfey
Emma L. Durfey, 84, of Lander, Wyoming passed away at home in Cheyenne, on January 14, 2022, with the family by her side.
Emma was born to Fredrick and Margaret Knopp on May 1, 1937, in Terry, Montana. She was a homemaker, member of the Lions Club for 25+ years, and volunteered at the hospital and schools. She also loved singing in the choir at First Baptist Church, crocheting, crafts, traveling to see different parts of the world, spending time with kids and grandkids, and taking a lot of pictures.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Durfey, brother, Richard Brunner; children, Cheryl Strange, Randi Van Buren and Joe Durfey; and many grandkids, nieces, nephews, and friends. She preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Van Kirk; brother, John Bansept; and daughters, Debby Bansept and Judy Couldry.
There will be no viewing and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Lander, Wyoming. Sing with the beautiful voice to the heavenly Father. You will be greatly missed until we meet again.
