The preseason qualifying tournament continued on Tuesday afternoon for the Laramie County Community College esports team as they played and won three matches to earn the title in the second qualifying tournament for the invitational season of Call of Duty: Vanguard. 

The 2022 Hell on Wheels Rodeo and Chuck Wagon Dinner series at the Laramie County Fairgrounds in Archer set new records for attendance, sponsorship, total prize money and economic impact for Cheyenne and Laramie County.

The Laramie County Community College volleyball team fell by way of a 25-16, 25-12, 25-21 sweep to the Northeastern Junior College Plainswomen on Tuesday night in their third Region IX match of the season.  

It was oh so close during Monday’s soccer match between the women’s soccer teams of Laramie County Community College and top ranked Eastern Florida State College, but the Titans just edged out the Golden Eagles 2-1 in a tight defensive struggle. 

A crowd of several hundred made Storey Gymnasium in downtown Cheyenne a raucous environment that the Laramie County Community College Golden Eagles (2-2) used to help them keep pace with the #18 Western Nebraska Community College Cougars on Friday night. 

The Laramie County Community College men’s soccer team made a valiant effort in the second half of their match with #12 Snow College on Friday afternoon, but fell just short in a 4-3 loss to the Badgers to open the season.
